Commands and Group

greendaysa year ago

Hi,

I saw an old post from about 5 years ago discussing commands connected to groups which are not visible to the user (unless the commands are connected to the user). I got that...

Here is a use case that can not be implemented due to the restriction above if I am not mistaken:

  1. I have a number of useful commands that I would like to make available to all users.
  2. I connect those commands to a group.
  3. I connect the users to the group.
  4. The users do not have access to the commands.

If I were to connect the commands to the users directly, I would have to manually add/remove new commands to each user when need be. However, if the commands were available to the user via the connection to the group, I would only have to add/remove the commands to a single group.

Please advice if there is a different way to accomplish this.

Thanks

It's expected behavior:

You have to link your commands to all users that need it. If you need to automate it, you can use the API.
