No data received from GPS tracking device (TK103B) into Synology

You definitely need dots in the IP address.

I changed to port 5001; does that help?

Anton Tananaev8 years ago

Port doesn't matter. I checked server logs and there is nothing there.

Any idea what I can do?
This is the information I did:

GPS tracker TK103B:
adminip123456myip 5002 (reply: adminip ok!)
APN123456 internet (reply: APN ok)
Check123456 (reply: GPRS: ON; GPS:ON; GSM:20
fix030s***n123456 (no reply)

I'm confused. I thought you were using demo server.

You are right, I gave you the wrong info. This is what I did:
adminip123456 40.122.161.243 5002 (reply: adminip ok!)

It looks fine to me. Not sure why it doesn't send any data.

/volumeX/@appdata/traccar/logs/

Note volumeX ist maybe volume1 or volume2

use ssh and your root user

Finally I manager to solve the problem. Full IMEI and port 5001 solved the problem. Thanks for the help.

I have a question about getting 'gettext' on my Synology with latest DSM. I think it's a question to 1sthandy. I want to update the Traccar server on Synology and need this gettext. There is no package in the Package Centre Community. I already installed Ease Bootstrap and iPKGui. Thanks, Menne.

You can always run latest version manually:
