I have forwarder 8082, and 5055 for udp and tcp. I am using my external IP. The testing device from outside the local network is a galaxy s4. It says send failed. What am I doing wrong? I have tried it on raspian jessie pixel, and ubuntu. when I try it on your demo (main one) it works perfect.

Aweosme thanks, turns out my router had the firewall extra secure. One more thing just to be completely sure, which port exactly do you absolutely have to forward? 8082 and the device's? Just the device's? or just 8082? Sorry for the confusion. I appreciate your help.

Port 8082 is for web interface. If you want to access it from outside of your local network, you have to forward it.

Device's port(s) should definitely be forwarded.
