Traccar is not showing connections in log file

naji7 years ago

Hi, All
I have traccar running on ubuntu 16 , and can accept connections from iphone on port 5055 and another GT06 device on port 5023 and I can see the logs and the device on the map .
for a tk206 device I cannot reach the server, no logs, no anything . although I can connect the same device to id.wialon.net and found that it is sending data as tk103 . So the device is OK, the server is OK , and ports are listening .
I have tried ports 5001,5002 , 5006, 5023, 5013.
The problem is why the logs is not showing anything , why traccar cannot show connections from the device. it should shows at least the hit logs on 5001 .
Can anyone suggest a solution? Thnk you

If server receives anything from the device, it will print it in the logs. Are you sure your device sends in TCP, not UDP?

Duplicate entry means that someone has already registered device with that id.

I thought port 5001 can receive both udp and tcp as I understood from this page "https://www.traccar.org/identify-protocol/"
So I tried to connect to this port, but nothing shown on the log file.

The 5001 port does listen on both UDP and TCP. Check this page:
